Position: Social Media Marketing Intern
Location: Remote (with fortnightly studio visits)
Type: Internship (10-20 hours per week, Flexible Hours)
Compensation: $12 per hour
Probation Period: 30 days

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern who is currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing within the context of early childhood education, mentored by our founder, a veteran in the field and an advocate for best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: Manage and update our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) with engaging content focused on early childhood education.

Content Creation: Develop creative and compelling content, including posts, stories, and videos, to attract and engage our audience.

Photography and Videography: Visit the studio every fortnight to take high-quality photos and videos for social media content.

Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing social media marketing campaigns to promote our brand, study tours, and educational philosophies.

Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.

Community Engagement: Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms, fostering positive interactions with our audience.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date with social media trends and competitor activities to ensure our content is fresh and relevant.

Basic Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Early Childhood Education or a recent graduate.

Strong interest in social media marketing and digital content creation.

Basic understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Availability to work 10-20 hours per week.

Availability to visit the studio every fortnight for content creation.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).

Photography and videography skills.

Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment, mentored by our founder, a veteran in the field and an advocate for best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Support: Assist in planning and facilitating child-led programmes that emphasize constructivist play and learning.

Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in the classroom, helping to set up provocations and engage with children during play and learning sessions.

Material Preparation: Help prepare and organize educational materials and resources for various programmes and workshops.

Observation and Documentation: Observe children's play and learning, documenting their progress and experiences to inform programme development.

Event Support: Assist in the organization and execution of special events, workshops, and study tours held at the studio.

Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Able to work at least 4 hours weekly for 6 months or longer.

Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree programme in Early Childhood Education or a recent graduate.
