Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership Application:
Membership availability is contingent upon discretion at the time of application. Each membership is individual and applies to one child per family. Separate memberships must be obtained for each child to access the club's services and facilities.

Membership is available to parents, guardians, and other eligible individuals within the same family. Prospective members must provide details for immediate family members and one child; inclusion of other household aides or grandparents will incur an added charge. Accurate and up-to-date contact details must be provided to ensure effective communication with the club. Personal information will be used exclusively for club-related communication. For information on current fees and to request a membership application, please contact TLC.

Payment and Fee Policy:
Members must pay non-refundable fees on a monthly or quarterly basis, with exceptions as per the organisation's refund policy. Charges for additional services must be settled prior to use. TLC retains the authority to modify fees upon providing a 60-day notice, ensuring that the revised fee will not be less than the prior month's fee. Following any fee adjustments, members have a 14-day window to terminate their membership in writing. Membership fee renewals will be processed automatically based on the chosen payment schedule (monthly or quarterly).

Guidelines for Club Usage:Club operational hours may vary occasionally, with families receiving prior notice of any closures. Membership grants entry for parents and their children from the same household. Members may invite guests within specified limits as outlined in the membership agreement. To comply, members must adhere to club regulations, carry their family membership card, settle any applicable charges, and follow all guidelines. Pets and smoking are prohibited on club premises. Commercial use of the facilities is not allowed, and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Rights and Responsibilities of Members:
Members and their guests are always accountable for themselves and their possessions within the premises, including during classes, camps, or off-site activities. Parents must supervise their children and their guests' children while on the premises. The establishment holds no responsibility for accidents, injuries, property loss, or perceived misconduct. Members are recommended not to visit if unwell and must leave promptly if they become ill to safeguard others. They are accountable for their actions, negligence, and those of their guests, including managing damages resulting from accidents or wrongful acts. Members are liable for compensating losses or damages caused by accidents, negligence, or wrongful acts. Additionally, members must indemnify TLC against costs, claims, or liabilities from breaches of the Terms & Conditions. TLC assumes no liability for issues arising from external food or beverages brought onto the premises, with members responsible for any resulting injury or damage.

Camps, Classes and Activities:
Classes, camps, and activities at TLC are accessible to the public with reservations and payments; membership is not required. During registration, both members and non-members must provide accurate contact details for effective communication with staff. Safety is a top priority for TLC and its team, ensuring a rewarding experience for all children while members understand the inherent risks of both on-site and off-site activities. Non-members can find transparent pricing information for activities on the organisation's website. For any inquiries, individuals are encouraged to contact TLC directly.

Non-Compete and Restraint of Trade:
TLC employs a mix of temporary and permanent staff to manage our classes, camps, and events, adhering strictly to comprehensive background check procedures and HR standards to ensure our team's suitability. All employees must seek approval before accepting any external roles, whether paid or unpaid, with exceptions granted based on fulfilling legal obligations. To maintain allegiance, employees are prohibited from engaging in roles that duplicate or compete with TLC, safeguarding against conflicts of interest.

Feedback and Communication:
We strive to ensure that all visitors to our establishment have a pleasant, secure, and enjoyable experience. To keep a harmonious environment, we kindly request that members refrain from directly confronting or admonishing our staff in situations they find unsatisfactory or inappropriate. Regardless of the nature of the concern, we ask for the opportunity to promptly address it with the staff involved. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us directly at contact@thelearningcaravan.com. Our team is dedicated to promptly and courteously addressing any issues you may meet. Any disputes should be resolved through amicable discussions or, if necessary, through proper legal channels. Any hostile behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated, and if necessary, we may request the member(s) to leave the premises if their behaviour is unacceptable. Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated.

Consent to Filming and Photography:
By attending these events organised or hosted by The Learning Caravan Pte Ltd (TLC), you agree to potentially being filmed or photographed for learning documentation, displays within the learning areas, and for marketing or promotional purposes, with the assurance that images will be chosen to maintain participants' dignity and removed upon request. Please let us know if you have a concern about photography or filming of you and your child. To ensure privacy is respected, we will refrain from capturing full face shots upon request.

Membership Suspension and Termination:
TLC has a policy that allows for the suspension or expulsion of any member or guest who breaches the terms and conditions or code of conduct. Failure to pay the membership fee within seven days of the due date, violation of outlined obligations, or any issues with direct debit payments, such as non-payment or inactivation, may result in restricted access and immediate termination of the contract. Before acting, the club will engage with the member to offer an opportunity for explanation. If a member is suspended, they and their representatives will lose access to the club’s facilities and services, while still being accountable for any unpaid fees. In case of membership termination, all joining, and subscription fees become non-refundable, and the member must settle any outstanding dues up to the termination date. Termination of membership, by either the member or TLC, results in the loss of associated rights and privileges. Conversely, if the termination is found to be unjust, the member will be reinstated without penalty and any lost access during the suspension will be compensated appropriately.

Force Majeure:
In cases of force majeure, defined as uncontrollable events like war, civil unrest, government interventions, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, or lasting natural catastrophes for a period of six (6) months, leading to significant inoperability of TLC's premises or facilities, the club retains the authority to pause or end club memberships without being held responsible to its members. Membership termination during these circumstances will cause memberships to expire, and members are unable to file claims against The Learning Caravan Pte Ltd.

Transfers, Assignment, or Restructuring:
In the scenario of a change in the club operator due to business reorganisation, such as share transfers, mergers, or the assignment of operational rights, memberships will be transferred to the new operator, provided that the membership benefits and facilities offered to members remain unaltered.

Amendments:
TLC keeps the prerogative to change the Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct autonomously, without prior member consultation. These modifications might entail revisions, revocations, or additions to the existing terms. Moreover, the club reserves the right to introduce new guidelines pertinent to membership affairs aligning with the Code of Conduct and other membership-related matters.

Interpretation:
TLC holds ultimate authority in the interpretation of the Club's Code of Conduct.

Governing Law:
The Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct are governed by Singaporean laws and will be construed and upheld in accordance with them.
